9th Jan 2008 - I have launched my first direct link campaign with Hydramedia. My affiliate manager has emailed me the top ten emails and zip offers. I decided to pick one which pays out $1.25 per email. I dipped my toes into YSM instead of Google Adwords as I have FREE $199 promotion credit from Yahoo which really comes in useful for testing purposes. I realised that reading different ppc books isnt going to help much unless you really hands on, besides knowing and understanding the various techniques by different authors, nothing beats actually doing it. YSM interface really needs a little bit of getting used to. I am prepared to pay to learn so let’s see how this campaign goes. Statistics has shown that 1 out of 50 campaigns is going to be the winner so I dun put high hopes on this one but let’s see…

Finally, we are into Year 2008. 24 | 12 | 2007 ~ Today is Xmas Eve, We ( Gary, Sharon and myself ) finally met up with Ben ( 21 yrs old NTU student who hit 20K USD in CPA Marketing at East Coast Macdonald. He gave an overview of how he started out with the CPA Business and what to and what not to do in this business. Before meeting him, my intention was to understand his thought process and how he start his CPA Campaigns. After speaking to him, I realised one thing ~ “He kept it simple” ~ CPA Marketing is his first internet venture and he din even read and explore Perry Marshall Definitive Guide to Adwords. His only manual was PPC Formula course and off he goes. This is something I saluted him. Very impressive young guy. I am sure he will go very far in this business.
